Mission: The Heartbeat of the Father
God’s number one purpose, since the beginning, has been to reach all the nations with his glory. Even as He sent out Abraham in Genesis 12, God had his eye on “all the people of the earth” and chose to bless them through the heritage of Abraham. Abraham was blessed for one purpose – to be a blessing to the nations!
This is still our one purpose today! We are blessed with mercy and salvation provided through Jesus Christ. It is now our mandate to take that blessing to all people, near and far.
Not only do we minister to those in our world here at home, but there is something to be said about crossing cultural barriers to share the love of Christ abroad. With boldness and humility we choose to obey that greatest of commissions: God has given us All Authority to go to All Nations and share All God Commands because He is with us Always - even to the end of the age!
Results: Short-Term Mission with Long-Term Impact
Missions is an exchange – a two way street – both spiritually, socially and culturally. These trips mark destiny and purpose in the young lives all around the world. This is reflected in total life transformation for those who go and for those who receive. Fulfilling the Great Commission is a pivotal part of discovering our role in God's enormous plan.
By working closely with local churches, our work continues long after we leave. Returning season after season to the same locations gives us the perspective needed to see amazing ongoing transformations.
It is our ultimate strategy to discover key young people abroad who are encountering God's purpose for their lives and then to mentor them to disciple their own community. It is thrilling to see these young leaders become successful in touching their communities and living transformed lives. They often become missionaries themselves!
